Qatar Prometric Guide; Advantages of a Techie guy!


Common problems of people applying for work abroad is the many curves in it. A lot of thing needs to be done; fill up here, send there and many more. One of which is the qualifying exam required for a health care provider to be eligible to work in a certain country.

If you are planning to work in the Middle East Prometric exam is what you need. This prometric provides a series of exam for all health care practitioners depending on what country you're planning to.

For Qatar, it would be Qatar Prometric exam. This exam has a sub category depending on what line of specialty you want to take. For nurses it would be The Registered General Nurse category. Having pass this test makes you eligible to work as nurse in Qatar.

The question is how to apply for a test and where to apply? Well, it's as easy as 1,2,3. All you need is a computer or laptop, a stable internet connection and a credit or debit card for payment. It is done only online. So no need to seek for the help of any agency offering services for prometric exam scheduling. This would only cost you money. Being a techie person is an advantage especially if money is an issue.

Read articles on how to apply online for a guide. You can also asks for a friend's help especially those who have taken the exam already. Ask them what and how they do it. Well, this article is written to guide you also.

Now, the question is Where to apply for a Qatar Prometric exam? The answer is https://www.prometric.com/en-us/Pages/home.aspx. Just click the link, it will direct you to the site. Once you're on the site, just follow the below procedures:

1. Start by entering your Test sponsor. You can click the N-Q button and select QCHP-Qatar Council of Healthcare Practitioners then click the Next button. See picture below for reference.



2. An information page about QCHP will be flashed. Read through it and see the different category of exam and it's cut off score to pass. Click Schedule my Test button after.

3. A QCHP Circular (as seen in the photo below) will next be flashed. Read and Click the Accept button below.

4. Click the Schedule my Test button again.

5. Select the country where you want to take the Exam. In the Photo, I choose Philippines. Click Next after.

6. An Information Review will next be flashed. Read through it again then click next.

7. Read through the Policy Review so you know what to do before and during the exam and other info about the Test. Then tickle the "I agree" button and click next.

8. Eligibility Information. Select "No" then click next.

9. Appointment Selection. Choose the exam Category  you want to take on the list. Click next.

10. Test Center Selection. Search Makati or Manila on the search bar. Once a result is flash click the Schedule an Appointment link on the result provided. (There is only one Test Center for prometric in Manila)

11. Date & Time Selection. Tickle one of the choices provided then click Go button. A calendar will be flashed with the available dates of exam. Choose your preferred date and time.


12. Additional Information. Fill up the necessary information needed. Make sure about the correctness of each details especially your Identification details. (Better use your passport as an ID)

13. Payment. Credit card and Debit card is use for paying the exam fee which is $200. Enter your credit card details on the spaces then accept.

14. Appointment Verification. A verification message will be flashed. An email verification will also be sent through your registered email address.

15. Appointment Complete. You are done scheduling your exam. Just print the emailed verification message. You will present that on the day of your exam with your passport.

16. Prepare for your exam. Start reading review materials and books.

P.s. Don't spend too much time on each page of the site while scheduling so as not to repeat the procedure again from the start. The page refreshes when in idle. So make it fast as possible.
